Council for the Conservation of Migratory Birds
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recognized RINS as a partner in their Council for the Conservation of Migratory Birds in 2015.

The Presidential Migratory Bird Federal Stewardship Award Finalist
Annual recognition of a single project or action conducted by or in partnership with a federal agency. RINS was a finalist for this award in 2014. Nominated by Robin Naeve, Biology Lead for the State of Utah Bureau of Land Management and Melissa Burns, Habitat Conservation Ecologist, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Utah Ecological Services.

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright presented RINS the Take Pride in America Award August 2004. Randy Swilling from the Salt Lake BLM Field Office made the nomination.
